			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of our favourite new Blue Note artists &#8216;Amos Lee&#8217; has been extremely busy this year, releasing his fourth studio album &#8216;Mission Bell&#8217; and touring with the likes of My Morning Jacket and Calexico.</p>

<p>Her latest release, ‘Raconte Moi…’ was released on May 31st 2010.</p>
<p>The all-French album entitled revisits great classics of the French musical heritage with songs by Barbara, Paul Misraki, Georges Moustaki, Henri Salvador, Michel Jonasz, Keren Ann and Benjamin Biolay, and also showcases original work by talented young songwriters like Claire Denamur, Camille D’Avril (who collaborated with Jim Tomlinson on one title) Pierre-Dominique Burgaud and Emilie Satt, “La Vénus du mélo”.</p>

<p>The album details two recording sessions. In the first, recorded on August 9, 1949, Powell performed in quintet with Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Tommy Potter and Roy Haynes, and in trio with Potter and Haynes. In the second, on May 1, 1951, Powell performed in trio with Curley Russell and Max Roach, and solo.</p>
<p>The album was remastered and re-issued on CD in 1989 in chronological order with additional, alternate takes.</p>
